O F F I C I A L MT. LEBANON, PENNSYLVANIA The Zoning Hearing Board of Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania will hold a public hearing in the Commission Chambers of the Mt. Lebanon Municipal Building, 710 Washington Road on Thursday evening, July 23, 2015, at 7:30 p.m., (prevailing time). APPEAL NO. 1722 OWNER: Echo GetGo Partners, 2004, 701 Alpha Drive, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15238 APPELLANT: GetGo /Pittsburgh Sign, 1061 Third Street, North Versailles, Pennsylvania 15137 LOCATION: 1540 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15228 The appellant is requesting a variance to Ordinance No. 2636, Chapter XX, and the following sections: 823.5.3.9.2.4 The face of the sign will include all alphanumeric characters, graphics or symbols defined by a small number of matrix elements using different combinations of light emitting diodes (LED), fiber optics, light bulbs or other illumination device within the display area, including computer programmable, micro-processor controlled electronic displays and projected images or messages with these characteristics. 823.2.14 One Bulletin Board Sign for a Place of Worship or Public and Semi-Public Uses where such sign meets the requirements of an Accessory Use, has no more than two sides, where any side contains no more than twenty (20) square feet for the message display area and no more than twelve (12) square feet for permanent facility identification, and is set back ten (10) feet from any Lot Line. Such a sign may be illuminated in accordance with §823.3.3 of this Chapter. If such sign is electronic, it must meet the definition of a Programmable Electronic Sign. The appellant is requesting this variance for the installation of a 4'6'' X 4'5'' or 21 square foot Programmable Electronic Sign on the property. The property is a corner lot on Washington Road and Gilkeson Road. It is zoned R-2 Single Family Residential. The application for this request was received by the Chief Inspector and it was determined that the matter should properly come before the Zoning Hearing Board. Ordinance No. 2636, Chapter XX, Part 12, section 1201, empowers the Zoning Hearing Board to act in this appeal. MT. LEBANON, PENNSYLVANIA ZONING HEARING BOARD
