SECTION 00 1113 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The New Kensington Arnold School District will receive sealed separate Bids for the NKASD Valley Jr/Sr High School Food Court Alterations. Bids may be hand delivered to New Kensington Arnold School District, ATTN: Ms. Audrey Sleigh If mailed, the following address must be used: New Kensington Arnold School District, ATTN: Ms. Audrey Sleigh, 707 Stevenson Blvd., New Kensington, PA 15068, until 10:00 AM on March 3, 2017. Bids received after this time shall not be accepted. Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud thereafter. The Project will be bid in multiple Prime Contracts. The Bids must be sealed and marked separately as follows: New Kensington Arnold School District, NKASD Valley Jr/Sr High School Food Court Alterations, General, Plumbing, or Electrical Bids shall be on a lump-sum basis. Segregated Bids will not be accepted. Bid Documents are being distributed, with twenty-four hour prior notice of pick-up, by F. L. Haus Company, 921 Ridge Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. All prime bidders are REQUIRED to buy the full set of plans and specifications. No documents will be distributed until payment in the amount of $55.00 plus tax and shipping (non-refundable) payabale and received by F. L. Haus. Free examination of said documents is available at the office of Canzian/Johnston & Associates LLC, Pennsylvania Builders Exchange and Dodge Data & Analytics. A pre-bid conference has been scheduled February 22, 2017, at 3:00 PM in the cafeteria. A certified check or bank draft, payable to New Kensington Arnold School District, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the acceptable sureties, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bids, shall be submitted with each bid. The New Kensington Arnold School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding.
