MUNICIPALITY OF PENN HILLS ZONING HEARING BOARD LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT The Penn Hills Zoning Hearing Board will convene its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Wednesday February 22nd, 2017 at 7:00 P.M., in the Penn Hills Municipal Building, Council Chambers, at 12245 Frankstown Road Pittsburgh PA 15235 to consider the following: Case #20 of 2016 REVISION: - Sharon C Messina of 6340 Leechburg Road Penn Hills PA, lot and block # 536-J-170/536-J-171, in the R-1 single family residential zoning district is requesting a variance of the side yard fencing requirements for the western portion of her property in order to keep an existing fence exceeding the eight (8) feet height limitation. Sections 3.2, 5.1, 10.5E and 15.11 of Ordinance 2420 apply. Case #27 of 2016 REVISION: - Thomas Rabb of 341 Forest Drive Penn Hills PA, lot and block # 451-E-313, in the R-2 single family residential zoning district is requesting a home occupation in order to permit the operation of his asphalt paving business, Classic Asphalt. Sections 3.2, 5.3, 5.23 and 12.5 of Ordinance 2420 apply. Case #4 of 2017: - Vigliotti Landscaping and Concrete Work of 10250 Buchannon Road, lot and Block # 368-E-334, in the R-2 single family residential zoning district is requesting a variance to the expansion of the legal non-conforming business to lot and blocks # 295-M-151/295-S-211/295-M-244/295-M-245 located in the R-2 single family residential and C-Conservation zoning district. Sections 3.2, 5.3, 5.9, 5.11, 13.1, 13.3.A and 13.4.A of Ordinance 2420 apply Case #5 of 2017: - Franz & Tenika Greer of 313 Stoneledge Drive, lot and block # 450-M-384 located in the R-1 single family residential zoning district is requesting a variance of the side yard fencing requirements for the northern portion of their of property in order to construct a proposed ten (10) foot fence. Sections 3.2, 5.1, 10.5E and 15.11 of Ordinance 2420 apply Case #6 of 2017: - Michael and Tracy Safran of 623 Oakview Drive, lot and block #533-P-246 located in the R-1 single family residential zoning district is requesting a special exception for the possession of four (4) chickens for egg production and as pets. Ordinances 2420 and 2490 of 2016 Applies Information on the above cases is available in the office of the Penn Hills Department of Planning and Economic Development.
