ADVERTISEMENT Public notice is hereby given that the Municipal Authority of the City of Monongahela will receive sealed bids at the Municipal Authority Building, 521 West Main Street, Monongahela, PA 15063 on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 3:00 P.M., prevailing time, for the CCTV inspections of either 60,500 linear feet or 125,000 linear feet of various diameter sanitary sewer and all necessary appurtenances located in the City of Monongahela, Washington County, PA under the following Contract: Monongahela GIS (CCTV) Project LS 15-26 Plans and specifications are on file at the office of Chester Engineers, 1555 Coraopolis Heights Road, Moon Township, PA 15108. Bids may not qualify any of the specifications. Immediately after the closing time for receipt of bids, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Municipal Authority Building, 521 West Main Street, Monongahela, PA 15063. Copies of the plans and specifications for this Contract may be purchased for one hundred dollars ($100.00) per set, nonrefundable, from Chester Engineers. A certified check payable to Municipal Authority of the City of Monongahela or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the Owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid, to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
