PUBLIC NOTICE APPLICATION LOTTERY FOR INCOME RESTRICTED APARTMENTS Within the guidelines of Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code Beginning April 11, 2016 ad ending April 15, 2016, the lottery selection will commence for applications to Larimer/East Liberty Phase I Apartments. There will be a maximum income restriction set at 60% of the Area Median Income. The table is listed below. MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE INCOME Maximum Income at 60% of the Area Median Income Total Household Members 1-$29,220 2-$33,360 3-$37,560 4-$41,700 5-$45,060 6-$48,420 The ranking of pre-applications will be done by computer, based on the applicant's social security number or alien registration number. The random order in which this number is posted by the computer will determine the applicant's place on the Lottery List. The resident screening criteria will be available for review to all applicants at time of formal application. Distribution of pre-application forms will close at 5:00 PM on Friday, April 15, 2016. Requests for special consideration for the disabled will be taken by phone during the week of April 11, 2016 to April 15, 2016 at 412-404-2404. The Lottery Selection Method The selection of the pre-applications will be by lottery. Placement on the waiting list will not be based of date and time of pre-application. This means that: 8 Applicants do not have to spend the night outside the pre-application form distribution sites; 8 Applicants do not need to stand in long lines; 8 Everyone who wants to submit a pre-application form before the deadline may do so; and 8 The lottery will determine the applicant's place on the waiting list giving each applicant a chance, providing it was submitted before the deadline listed on the pre-application form.
