RIGGING AND MPT SERVICES FOR LOCAL BRIDGE INSPECTIONS, ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA HDR Engineering, Inc. has been contracted by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to perform inspections of approx. nineteen (19) local bridges in Allegheny County. The inspections are scheduled to begin in March, 2016 and end in December, 2016. HDR will require services of a Contractor to provide rigging and maintenance & protection of traffic (MPT) during the field inspections. The Contractor must provide evidence of at least 5 years of experience in providing rigging services on bridge inspection projects of similar size and complexity. The Contractor must make available the following equipment in good working order along with properly trained, competent, equipment operators. -60' under-bridge inspection crane with three-man minimum capacity bucket. -40' under-bridge inspection crane with three-man minimum capacity bucket. -Work barge consisting of a tug boat and spud barge capable of accommodating an 85' manlift. -Manlift (JLG) with maximum rated vertical reach between 60' and 120'. -Bucket truck with 45' minimum vertical reach. -Traffic control devices and operations in accordance with PennDOT Publication No 213, "Temporary Traffic Control Guidelines", including shadow vehicle with truck mounted attenuator. HDR will receive separate sealed bids from qualified Contractors for the rigging and MPT services until 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in HDR's Weirton Office located at 2416 Pennsylvania Avenue, Weirton, WV 26062. HDR will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. HDR reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
