OFFICIAL BOROUGH OF FRANKLIN PARK PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE AND NOTICE OF INTENT TO ENACT TAKE NOTICE that at its reorganization meeting to be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. prevailing local time, at the Franklin Park Municipal Building, 2344 West Ingomar Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237, the Council of the Borough of Franklin Park will hold a public hearing on and thereafter consider the adoption of, and if appropriate enact, Ordinance No. 628-2015 entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF FRANKLIN PARK, ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 184 OF CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF FRANKLIN PARK, "SUBDIVISION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT," TO ADOPT REVISIONS TO THE SUBDIVISION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE This proposed Ordinance amends Chapter 184, Section 184-904 entitled "Dedication of open space; fees in lieu thereof" to: add general standards for recreation open space in residential and non-residential developments; revise the standards for mandatory dedication of recreation open space; revises the criteria for land to be dedicated to the Borough; provides for a formula to determine the amount of a fee in lieu of mandatory dedication of land; repeals conflicting ordinances; is severable; and contains an effective date. All persons interested in this matter are invited to be present at the above time and place and you will have an opportunity to be heard. A copy of the full text of the proposed Ordinance may be examined by any citizen at the Franklin Park Municipal Building, at the newspaper publishing this legal notice, and at the office of the Allegheny County Council Chief Clerk, Allegheny County Courthouse, Pittsburgh, PA, during regular business hours.
